Infrastructure
California Public school at Kamakshipalya was founded by Dr. Gopalakrishna & Mrs. Vandana Gopalakrishna in June 1999 after sensing the need for a good school that would effectively educate the children in the fast growing city of Bangalore.
Though the school started initially with providing the State Curriculum, it adopted the ICSE curriculum in the year 2014. Since then the school has been growing from strength to strength and is now one of the best pioneering institutions in the area.
The hallmark of our school is discipline. Our founder secretary being a disciplinarian himself gives great importance to discipline and our school is rightly called ‘A temple of learning’. The management holds a successful track record of all the classes, which helps for fruitful academic progress.
Classes may be viewed from the Principal and Secretary's chamber itself. We rise to the need of an hour, our school has generously contributed for the victims of Tsunami & Floods, old age homes, orphanages etc. A civic sense is imbibed in the minds of our students.
CLASSROOMS
Integration of technology & our Biophilic Designed spaces bringing in natural elements inside the building like ample sunlight, air, natural fabrics, textures, earthen colours, plants to balance the technology and nature under the same shelter.
LIBRARY
Developing strong literacy skills helps prepare children not only for success in reading and writing but also in other academic fields. We have a well-equipped library to encourage students to learn about the Conservation of nature, Science & Technology, General Knowledge, Biographies, Historical Books, Fiction, Encyclopedia, and many more for children to quench their thirst for information.
LABORATORY
We have adequately equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Laboratory activities are designed to engage students’ minds, so that they may co-relate previously learned theory with practical analysis.
COMPUTER LAB
Knowledge is the key to success and internet holds millions of gigabytes of information. Our school is also equipped with 40 computer systems with internet facility, providing every student the opportunity of e-learning.
Mathematics, Social and Language Lab
The specialty of our school is we give importance to all subjects not just one. We ensure our children have complete exposure to all the topics in the curriculum. All streams of learning are given a likeable touch of fun learning.
PLAY GROUND
A healthy mind dwells in a healthy body. We give equal importance to physical exercises and to help the kids excel in this field of athletics.
SCHOOL CANTEEN
We have a functional party to serve our kids at their hunger. The school management has laid a strong emphasis on a hygienic environment with a great emphasis on maintaining quality standards.
DEVA GRUHAM
We have a sacred temple to restore good energy and blessings from almighty. Students are encouraged on a daily basis to sing prayer and uphold our culture.
